Winston-Salem man killed by car lift | News
ELKIN, N.C. — A Winston-Salem man was killed after police said a car lift fell on him at Advance Auto Parts Tuesday in Elkin.
Bernie Dean Gross, 51, was found dead after police responded to the business at 2015 N. Bridge St. around 6:20 p.m.
Officials said the victim’s family has been notified and Gross was taken to Northern Surry Hospital in Mount Airy.
Other details were not released.
