Gym coach from Winston-Salem faces more indecent liberties charges | News
APEX, N.C. — A registered sex offender in Winston-Salem has been charged with four counts of indecent liberties with a minor.
Phillip Darryl Thompson, 35, was given the additional charges by Apex Police on Wednesday.
A department spokesperson told WTVD the charges are related to alleged incidents involving 6- and 9-year-old children from 2001 to 2003.
Apex Police said Thompson was a coach at the now former Impact Gym.
In 2008, Thompson was charged with 15 counts of indecent liberties in Sanford.
